Vintage Beaded Mirror Kuchi Tribal Protection Component (#8695)

Description

Handmade beaded mirror that most like was hung as a means of protection, but also for use as a mirror. The reflective properties of the mirror are often seen as a means to ward off the evil eye. The beaded border is comprised of orange, blue, white, green, and red beads. There is no longer a loop at the top. The mirror has a visible scratch. Vintage item with signs of age and use - there are some stray threads, a missing loop, faded fabric on the back, and a cloudy surface on the mirror. Just a bit longer than 6.25".
