Plug in the Century FC90 flux core wire feed welder anywhere common 120-Volt input power is available. The small lightweight inverter design allows for portability perfect for small weld jobs. Automatic thermal protector shuts off the output until the machine cools to a normal operating temperature.

A great little welder but if you don't know how to weld it could be a tad bit difficult to dial in. For the money, it's a solid purchase. It is built for light duty welding and light gauge metals so it should not be compared to more robust welders with larger duty cycles and higher amperage. That said I'm welding 16 gauge metal galvanized and because I am running such low amperage I have been able to get up to 50% duty cycle before experiencing decreasing weld quality. It has never overheated on me and I really love this little machine. It's definitely not my Miller 211 but but it gets the job done without gas shielding.

First off, I have never welded in my life, I needed to be able to do some welding on a project, figured good as a time as any to take the plunge, seen this one on line, I know of the different types of welders, found out Centrum is owned now by Lincoln, well picked up the unit, some wire and the accessories box, with hood, gloves and other stuff you need.Oh, would have gave 5 stars had they included a spool of wire to start you off with, well after a few YouTube vids, I donned the PPE and tried it out, its not as easy at it looks at first, but I picked it up, and was able to weld for the first time

If you put this head to head with a harbor freight welder. This will out do it easy. Love the beads it laid I was able to weld up my spider gears on the Jeep axle with the heat turned up all the way. It was actually able to melt then down just a bit even with a 50 ft extension cord. Definitely going to be a camping trail welder for me.

This is a great welder for very small projects. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to use and how smooth it welded. That being said the quality of the welds are just ok. I have never been able to get s great wild using flux core wire. For the price and the portability it still gets 5 stars. It will do for light jobs.
